A man was stabbed Saturday night at a La Mirada, Calif., movie theater after an argument over seat-kicking erupted into violence.
According to a report, the incident happened at the AMC on Rosencrans Avenue just before midnight.
The Norwalk sheriff's office said the dispute started when a man and a woman were alleged to have kicked the back of the seats of another couple, believed to be the stabbing suspects.
“After a brief argument, the female suspect produced a knife and cut the male victim in the arm,” Sergeant Jason Cunningham from the Norwalk sheriff's office said.
Police said the two suspects drove off after the incident but were later pulled over and arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. The stabbing victim was treated at the scene for a minor injury.
